Celebrity Chef Brian Hill

Chef Brian, a native Washingtonian from Petworth (1970’s Petworth!) is a celebrity chef who is bringing his talents to DC with his restaurant, Chef Brian’s Comfort Kitchen, located in the heart of downtown on 19th Street between K & L Streets. Chef Brian has been on a number of hit TV shows including the first seasons of Top Chef and Bar Rescue and Private Chefs of Beverly Hills. He was also a celebrity judge on Master Chef and Master Chef Junior.

Chef Brian’s American comfort cuisine (NOT to be confused with soul food) is inspired by the food he cooked for celebs Mary J. Blige, Eddie Murphy, and Mariah Carey (to name a few) and by the food he likes to eat and prepare for his family. Chef Brian only uses fresh ingredients and insists everything be made from scratch. All of his dishes are clean and flavorful, and he creates them with his own twists including homemade sauces and the use of fresh herbs, always with an eye to doing what others aren’t.

From a very young age, Chef Brian knew there was something special about cooking for him. When other kids were watching TV or playing outside, he would spend hours in the kitchen with his grandfather, who prepared Sunday dinners for the family. It is this long-term love of cooking he now delivers to DC with his nine-item menu which highlights the comfort cuisine he himself loves and is known for, and where the most expensive menu item is $13.

Chef Brian wants everyone to enjoy his comfort cuisine so delivery downtown (minimum order applies) is FREE (via Chef Brian’s favorite mode of transport, bicycle!) Catering delivery is FREE, too!

Marinated boneless breast of chicken GOLDEN fried until succulent, then topped with fresh basil, oven-roasted fresh pineapple slices, pepper jack cheese, sautéed red onions, baby spinach with Chef Brian’s ORIGINAL paprika and tarragon mayonnaise on a toasted hoagie roll. (Chef Brian’s ORIGINAL cranberry relish added during the holidays).



Chesapeake Salmon Salad

Oven broiled salmon mixed with chopped green onions, California golden raisins, fresh tarragon, mayonnaise and special seasonings served on a bed of arugula. Served with side of Golden Fried Tortilla Chips (AKA “Crack Chips”).

Oven-roasted Tequila Lime Chicken or Slow Roasted Beef and Vegetable BOWL

Chopped breast of chicken (pulled from the bone), marinated in tequila and special seasonings OR slow roasted beef, marinated overnight then cooked low and slow until succulent. Served with oven-roasted mashed yams, chopped tomatoes, arugula and fresh roasted pineapple chunks and topped with Chef Brian’s ORIGINAL pineapple vinaigrette.



Golden Fried Chicken Salad

Golden fried chicken cutlets on a bed of spinach with a mixture of pineapple tidbits, diced tomatoes, banana peppers, California golden raisins, oven-roasted soy glazed red onions and chopped hard boiled eggs with your choice of Chef Brian’s ORIGINAL creamy avocado and basil dressing or a pineapple vinaigrette.
